Larry Semon |
born: 09 February 1889 West Point, Mississippi, United States of America |
died: 08 October 1928 Gracelon Ranch, California, United States of America (lobar pneumonia, aged 39) |
Flexible American comedian, stuntman, producer and director of silent slapstick comedies. He frequently appeared in films with real-life wives/actresses Dorothy Dwan and Lucille Carlisle. Larry is one of those very sad examples of a multi-talented human being who died far too young, though there were strong rumours that he faked his death in 1928 to avoid paying huge debts. |
