The Rajah

Harold rescues Bebe who has been kidnapped by the Rajah before fleeing with her in his automobile.

From the 2 minutes 20 seconds of footage available for review... Harold is sitting on a sofa, completely oblivious of the chimpanzee next to him. Harold lights up a cigarette before the animal creeps up to his face. The shocked Harold walks off with the chimp wrapped around his shoulders. At the Hotel Zanzibar, Harold returns the chimp to a hideously looking tribesman before they engage in a gambling game with dice. And that's pretty much it.

Trivia • Copyrighted July 22, 1919. • Reissued October 22, 1922. • The chimpanzee is 'Snooky', who had his own series of films in the early 1920s.
