Hats Off!
![]() |
I do not own this title; no review available. |
Trivia • Copyrighted October 17, 1927. • Isn't it just a little ironic/unlucky that this is the only film featuring both Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy which is completely lost - and it was the 13th film they appeared in together! • Was remade as The Music Box in 1932. • Hal Yates, director of "Hats Off", also directed the 1945 Edgar Kennedy short "It's Your Move", whose plot and location seem almost identical to the purported plot and location of "Hats Off". • James Finlayson's store has the number 6808 above the door. • The original cutting continuity script by MGM reveals that the grammatically correct title to this film is Hats Off! (with an exclamation mark at the end). |
