From approximately 2 minutes (20%) of the film available for review... Three young ladies sit outside on a balcony, seated around a table discussing their wealth and boasting of their personal jewels when a fourth woman enters with a newspaper which shows a notorious burglar called 'The Eel' (a.k.a. the 'Master Thief') on the loose. We cut to a bride and groom sitting inside the house reading a book when the women run in to show them the newspaper. The bride (Ethel Broadhurst) asks her groom Lester (Eddie Boland) if they should be scared? That's it! |
Trivia • Copyrighted March 9, 1921. • The groom is reading "The Bloody Coat - Or Who Stole The McCluck Diamonds" by Lester Charlesworth when we first see him. |
