| American child actress. According to a 1937 newspaper article (see below) her father was the manager of the Beneficial Loan society in Salem, Oregon and a member of the Lions club. She began taking dancing lessons when she was 20 months old and at 23 months old joined Hal Roach's Our Gang team. The article also states that her acting career in the Our Gang films effectively ended when her family moved from Los Angeles to Oregon. |
