The 1930 Census has 12-year old "Harmond" [sic] as an actor on the stage, while his 2008 obituary in the Whittier Daily News confirms "he was in the 'Little Rascals'" in his youth. After his acting career, he worked as an auto parts salesman (1940 Census), for Angeles Furniture Co. (WWII draft reg. card), and as a truck driver for a feed and seed store (1950 Census). He later worked for an insurance company for 18 years, retiring in 1973. He married Grace J. Didier on the Fourth of July, 1941; they met in high school, bonding over their shared love of dancing, and remained together for 67 years until Harmon's passing. Grace passed away in 2015, at age 96.
