American comedian actor, who started out playing heavies and supporting roles as 'Babe' Hardy. He is the fat half of the Laurel and Hardy team. Interred at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, North Hollywood, California, USA. Married three times: Madelyn Saloshin (1913-1921); Myrtle Reeves (1921-1937); Virginia Lucille Jones (1940-1957) (his death). See also Stan Laurel.
