Somewhere In Turkey

So, BEBE DANIELS is walking along the beach minding her own business, looking directly into the camera as she always does, when out of nowhere a bunch of horny Arab men descend upon her and think they'll have a piece of that! They lift her up and take her to their Sultan, who thinks to himself he'll have a piece of that too! She slaps him and he sends her away to a cell. A professor (HAROLD LLOYD) and his valet (SNUB POLLARD) are making their way across a desert on a camel when they ride into a small village and are immediately accosted by the Arabs. Two young ladies tease the men before they get their first good look at Fatemah The Fair (HELEN GILMORE). When Harold and Snub meet The Sultan, he tells them they are not destined to leave the harem alive.
Snub is instructed to shoot an apple off Harold's head. Every time the Sultan turns his back Harold eats the apple to make it appear that Snub shot it. Harold gets the idea to switch places with a dummy called the Great Kickaloo by removing its clothing and posing in its place. None of the Arabs or the Sultan notice that their 'statue' is moving because they're all stupid. The Sultan and Harold exchange blows before Harold is led away to a cell. He is given the choice of slow death by starvation or immediate death by razor. Harold sees Bebe in a cell and chooses to go in with her. Harold gives her an apple but the guard alerts the Sultan that the cell is already occupied. Because he's stupid too. Anyway, Harold escapes with Bebe, gets on a camel and heads off... to Brooklyn. Don't ask.

Favourite bit
When the Sultan rips off the bars to the cell with his bare hands and Harold seeks cover with Bebe. Oh I dunno, I just stuck anything in here to fill up the page. It's all crap if you ask me. And even if you didn't ask me.... it's still all crap.

Trivia
Copyrighted June 24, 1918.
Reissued December 4, 1922.
When Harold jumps into the cell with Bebe you can see the top part of her dress is hanging a little bit, and she also shows quite a bit of leg too! [Both screenshots are below in the RISQUE section].
My opinion
Just your average typical load of bollocks from Harold Lloyd. Watching and having to review (and write about) this sort of stuff is exactly why I no longer enjoy running this site! For god's sake! There are actually people out there who find this shit funny/amusing/entertaining? The film was only 10 minutes long and by the time I reached the 6th minute I was already prepared to kill myself.
