-The Italian version cuts out the child abuse/domestic violence scenes. -The British film certificate is shown prior to the English version of the film. -Italian version is too bright, and fuzzy. -English version is sharper but still lacks in quality. -The Soilers is only half of the film, and is over-exposed. |

Atollo K [82:40] The Home Wrecker [14:55] |
|
-Very rare print of the Italian version of "Atoll K", with its original title card and footage exclusive to this version. -English-audio version has sections of the film with no sound (examples: 36:51 - 37:15 with Cherie at the registrar office, and later 67:18 - 68:39 with Laurel, Hardy and company in the bar). -Below average print. -The film is edited in several places - Two observations are the solicitor's plaque at the beginning is missing, as is the bridged scene between the House of Parliament and the subsequent shot of the street before we go to the solicitor's office. Also, the film ends on a high note when Stan has the last line about how nice it was to be dropped off on their own island. The scene where their possessions are confiscated is cut out completely. |
