Large, black American actress.  She was the mother of OUR GANG child stars Matthew 'Stymie' Beard, Bobbie 'Cotton' Beard, Betty Jane Beard, Carlena Beard and Rene Beard. Her death certificate lists her obesity as a contributing factor in her demise.
