| German-born actor. He was accidentally shot during a deer hunting trip when a shotgun his chauffeur was unloading accidentally discharged. Two sons, Ullrich and Hans, accompanied their father on his hunting trip. Ullrich drove for help, but by the time he had returned to the remote campsite with a doctor, he had been dead for several hours. |
