Beth Darlington
born: 19 March 1904
Kansas City, Missouri,
United States of America
died: 06 January 1951
Val Verde, Texas,
United States of America
(coronary occlusion, age 46)
American Actress who had a brief film career in the early 1920s. At the time of her death she was known as Helen Clarke.
A December 1921 article in Motion Picture Magazine lists Beth's address as 2633 Romeo Street (Los Angeles, Calif.), which is the address given for Helen Hixson (also spelled "Hixon") and her mother Mae in several Los Angeles city directories from 1921 to 1926 — the last two even list Helen's profession as "actor" (1925) and "actress" (1926), as does Helen's 1926 marriage certificate to Terence Edmonde Clarke (1898-1972). The 1921 Motion Picture Magazine article also gives Beth's age as seventeen, which corresponds nicely with Helen's.
Real name: Helen Hixson
Height: 5'1½"
