The girls get locked in the department store window overnight. The girls work at a counter in a department store. Patsy causing a fury with the customers, much to the dismay of Thelma. The two gals who have been demonstrating the new washing machine apparatus all day in the store front window are clocking out. The manager insists that Thelma and Patsy fill in for them during the night shift. After many slapstick episodes (mostly caused by Patsy), the girls discover that they have a perpetual audience in Arthur Housman. Meanwhile, the store is closing and the girls are locked in the display window overnight . They make themselves as comfortable as possible by sleeping in the bedding department, but with Patsy, Thelma can do anything BUT get a good night's sleep. Meanwhile, the girls still have an audience with Arthur Housman sitting right outside the window, observing everything that is going on. When the boss, Jack Barty, returns in the morning to find the girls asleep, they are soon discharged of their duties. |
