British-born actress. She was educated in British Columbia, Canada, and immigrated with her family to the United States in 1923. On 21 June 1930, she married optometrist Albert Karl Loerch (1902-1990) in Hollywood, and she retired from films and moved with him to Santa Ana, California. Loerch's sister, Clara Eloise Loerch (1898-1959), was known as actress Claire Delmar, and was once married to famed cinematographer (and one-time Roach alumnus) Hal Mohr.
