Tall, older American actor, a veteran of the Spanish-American War. He had previously worked as a salesman for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in his native Philadelphia, and moved to California around 1924 (his death certificate says he was in Los Angeles County, and California overall, for 35 years). He is interred in the Abbey of the Psalms Mausoleum at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
