Diminutive American actor and acrobat, formerly of the stage and vaudeville. A birth record and the vast majority of vital records pertaining to Charles support his birthplace being Alden, Minnesota, USA. However, an interesting anomaly is a delayed birth record filed in 1942, which claims he was born in Ellensburg, Washington, USA. It would appear Charles was at least raised in Washington: the 1900 Census has 14-year old Minnesota native Charles S. Seaton (the future Charles Bimbo), and his parents, John and Hulda Seaton, residing in Tacoma, Washington; young Charles' occupation is given as "Apprentice U S Navy."
