American actor. Both parents were touring vaudevillians. Bob had a twin brother, Bill (1907-1971), who (as kids) starred with him in a short film series "The Adventures of Bob and Bill" which was directed by their dad, who was a film actor, director and writer. His height of 5'6" is according to his WWII Draft card; other sources list him at an inch shorter. |
