Blonde American actress, writer, director, and instructor. Her mother, Julia Baldwin Hazelton (née Johnson, 1877-1956), was a radio/TV writer, playwright, and teacher of some note. After a career acting on stage and screen, Beth followed in her mother's footsteps and wrote for radio and television, as well as books for young adults, and also taught radio and drama writing and technique; she also directed her drama students in plays she wrote for the radio.
